A calmer, more accessible experience.

Clear structure and predictable controls are part of the design, not an extra layer.

Moving through the site

Headings describe each page’s structure. Navigation uses text links, and a skip link lets keyboard users move to the main content. Interactive controls have visible focus states and are designed to remain usable on smaller screens.

Expandable questions use native disclosure controls. The mobile menu identifies its open state and can be closed with Escape. Booking steps announce their heading when you move forward or back.

Reading and motion

Article text uses a limited reading width with generous line spacing. Dates, topics and reading times sit in a consistent order. Information is written as text rather than embedded inside photographs.

The interface respects the device’s reduced-motion setting. Decorative movement and smooth scrolling are reduced when that preference is enabled; no information depends on an animation finishing.

Forms and booking

The demo uses labelled choices instead of asking for personal details. Your service, duration and fee remain visible alongside the steps. Confirmation, empty and cancelled states explain the next action in plain language.

The cancellation dialog supports keyboard dismissal and returns focus to its trigger. Disabled controls remain visually distinct, and the review step explains what is needed before confirmation.

Scope of this statement

This is a portfolio prototype, not a certification of conformance or a completed assistive-technology audit. Device, browser and assistive-technology testing should continue before any production release. Photographs are illustrative and do not establish the accessibility of a real building.
